Terms of Service
1. Who we are
These Terms are a contract between you and Emeldron S.L. (Spain), which operates Compendro (the web app, mobile apps, and browser extension - the "Service"). Our identity details are in the Legal Notice and our data practices in the Privacy Policy. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.
2. The Service
Compendro is a read-later queue: you save links and content to read or watch later, with optional AI summaries and transcripts. Some features depend on third-party sources and may not work for every item, and AI summaries and transcripts may contain errors.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18 to use the Service. Keep your login credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Plans, prices, and payment
Compendro is a paid service, offered as an annual subscription, a lifetime plan, and one-time enrichment packs. Prices are shown before you buy and include any applicable VAT. Payment is handled by our payment provider. The annual subscription renews automatically until you cancel, which you can do at any time from within the Service; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. "Lifetime" means access for as long as we operate the Service. Enrichment-pack credits do not expire.
5. Refunds and right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of purchase; tell us by a clear statement at the contact below and we will refund you. In addition, we offer a voluntary worldwide 14-day money-back guarantee, for any reason. Neither limits your statutory rights.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service unlawfully, to infringe others' rights, to gain unauthorised access to or disrupt the Service, to abuse the enrichment features, or to build a competing product. We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these Terms.
7. Your content
You own the content you save. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it, and to have our service providers do so on our behalf, only to provide the Service to you. We do not use your content for advertising or to train third-party models.
8. Liability
We provide the Service with reasonable care, but on a best-effort basis and without guaranteeing it is uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer). Otherwise, and so far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections and the courts of your country of residence.
